Trip Details

Day 1: Guwahati-Bhalukpong (260 KM / 4 Hrs)

Arrival at Guwahati Airport. Pickup and Drive to Bhalukpong (260 km). It is located by the scenic Kameng river. Bhalukpong, which falls in West Kameng District is 56 km from Tezpur. Bhalukpong, at a height of 700 ft above sea level, is a little town on the Kameng River and lies along the dense forests that form the border of the Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary. Bhalukpong is a mesmerizing place for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. Scenic beauty, high water falls and the banks of river Kameng surrounded by evergreen forests are a
photographer’s delight.Overnight at Bhalukpong

Day 2: Bhalukpong- Bomdila (100 KM / 4 Hrs)
Visit Tipi Orchidarium & Drive to Bomdila ( 8000 ft.).Bomdila is situated at an altitude of over 8500 feet in the north eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh in India. Hooked amongst the mighty mountainous ranges of Himalaya, Bomdila is the headquarters of the West Kameng district of the state of Arunachal Pradesh and offers a panoramic view of the awesome Himalayan terrain Overnight at Bomdila.

Day 3: Bomdila-Tawang (180 KM / 5 Hrs)
Drive to Tawang crossing Sela Pass ( 13720 ft.) which runs through a small ridge and along the paradise lake. Stop to enjoy the Sella Pass and Paradise Lake. From the Sela pass road winds down to Jong Village. On the way to Jong visit Yashwant Garh War Memorial. After lunch at Jong Village starts for Tawang. On the way, visit Nuranang Fall. Overnight at Tawang

Day 4: Tawang – Bumla Pass – Tawang (Bumla Cost Excluded)
Enjoy a full day excursion to visit the PT Tso Lake, Bumla Pass, Sangetsar
Lake. Sangestser is popularly known as (Madhuri Lake) which was named after the Legendary Bollywood star Madhuri Dixit, located 35 km from Tawang near China border.The drive to Sangestserlake is full of thrill and one can still see the war bankers that had been used during the Chinese aggression in 1962 and the beautiful lake.. Drive back to Tawang. Overnight at Tawang

Day 5: Tawang Local Sightseeing
Sightseeing in and around Tawang city. Visit the famous Tawang Monastery, which is 400 years old, accommodates over 500 monks and houses priceless Buddhist texts and scriptures. The Tibetan influence here is unmistakable, with the elaborately painted wooden windows and other motifs. An 8 mt high gilded statue of the Buddha is seated here, as are numerous ancient Thankas or Traditional paintings and manuscripts. Also visit the Craft Centre,
Tawang War Memorial. Evening free time. Overnight at Tawang.

Day 6: Tawang to Dirang (134 KM / 4.5 Hrs
After breakfast, check out of the Hotel & transfer to Dirang, crossing the same sela Pass(14000 ft.) from sea level and reaching Dirang by afternoon. We will visit to drive to Shangti valley, this valley is famous for Black Named cranes that come in the month of October and fly back in the month of May. Considered to be the best valley in Eastern Himalayan Zone. Overnight at Dirang

Day 7: Dirang – Tezpur / Nameri National Park (160 KM / 5 Hrs)

Buffet After early breakfast, Drive toward the foothills of Arunachal Pradesh and reach near the plains of Assam and onwards. You can enjoy boating at Jia Bharali River (Open till 02PM)and do the sacred forest walk inside the Nameri National Park. Overnight stay at Tezpur / Nameri National Park.

Day 8: Tezpur / Nameri National Park to Shillong / 5 Hrs Approx

After breakfast, Proceed towards Shillong. Shillong, also known as ‘The Scotland of the East’ is the capital city of Meghalaya. En route, you will visit the largest manmade lake in Northeast India –Umium Lake. Reaching Shillong. Proceed for the local sightseeing visit Ward’s Lake located at the heart of the city which is popular for its garden walks and boating, Lady Hydari Park & walk into Police Bazaar.Overnight Stay at Shillong.

Day 9: Excursion towards Mawsynram (The wettest place on Earth)

After breakfast drive towards Mawsynram, Enroute visits Elephanta Falls & Shillong Peak(Depending on Army Permission) situated on the outskirts of the city. Visit Mawphlang Sacred Forest, Mawjymbuin Cave (Mawsynram cave).
After sightseeing in the evening back to Shillong, visit the Cathedral Catholic Church- In the heart of the city, there stands a beautiful cathedral of Roman Catholics dedicated to Mary’s Help of Christians. Overnight stay at Shillong

Day 10: Day excursion trip to Jowai / 5 Hrs
The morning after breakfast, proceed for a day excursion trip to Jowai, eastern Meghalaya -Jaintia Hills. Explore the Krang Suri falls, Thadlaskein Lake, Stone bridge, and Nartiang Temple (one of the Peetam). Also, enjoy your route which is very beautiful & scenic. Afternoon drives back to Shillong via Laitlum- Laitlum canyon is one of the beautiful destinations with its green lush hills and experiencing life above the clouds. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 11: Day Excursion trip to Mawlynnong and Dawki & transfer to Cherrapunjee Wake up early and have your breakfast and drive to Mawlynnong. Today you can explore the cleanest village Mawlynnong in the world. You can take the skywalk. Spectacular view of the living Root Bridge.
After lunch, drive to Dawki. Dawki is the gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions take place. It is a splendid drive of 45 kilometers passing through deep gorges and ravines, which is certainly a thrilling experience. On approaching Dawki is the Umngot river, The Umngot river is the natural boundary between Ri Pnar or Jaintia Hills with
Hima Khyrim of Khasi hills over which a single-span suspension bridge was constructed. Evening drive to Cherrapunjee. Overnight Stay at Cherrapunjee.

Day 12: Cherrapunjee local sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed to Visit Arwah Caves, Nohkalikai Falls, Wakaba Falls, Garden of Caves, Mawsmai Caves, Eco Park, Seven Sisters falls, Ramakrishna Mission, and the Thangkharang Park.Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

Day 13: CHERRAPUNJEE — Double Decker Root Bridge Trek & Rainbow Falls /Optional (Close on Sunday)

After breakfast, proceed for the full day visit to Double Decker Route Bridge. This trek will take 6 to 7 Hours to complete. Located in the thick tropical forest of Meghalaya, cloaked with rain during most part of the year are the fantastic man-made cum natural wonders of the living root bridges. These roots grow from the ancient rubber trees, seen only in the northeast region. These roots are trained by the Khasis to grow in such a manner as to be in the form of bridges on the top of a river. These bridges are an amazing alternative to
wooden bridges that dwindle with so much rain falling on them. The most
popular tourist attraction of Cherrapunjee, these double decker living root bridges are 2 bridges that are stacked one on the other, made because of the entanglement of roots. Rainbow Falls is again 1 hour walk from Double Decker Route Bridge Point. That will be optional based on your choice & energy, you can visit or skip. OR,You can do activities in Cherrapunjee like visiting Mawryngkneng where you can see the unique Bamboo trek , also you can do Jeep lining at Cherrapunjee. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

Day 14: Cherrapunjee to Guwahati / 5 Hrs
After breakfast, proceed towards Guwahati, then visit Kamakhya Temple, Sankardeva Kalakhetra, and ‘Jagran’ – the shop of Assamese handicrafts & culture. Evening you can experience the Dinner Cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra River (Included).Overnight Stay at Guwahati.

Day 15: Cherish Your Memories
In the morning after breakfast, visit. After, check out from your hotel & then transfer to Guwahati airport with sweet memories & cherish your memories forever…..
